Collection: 20th Century Historical Fiction

The 20th century certainly had enough going on to be full of stuff to be good topics for some historical fiction. The two World Wars stand out. Then you have the Cold War, which was occasionally a bit warm at the very least, and very fertile ground for some spy stories. It wasn’t all horrible stuff, some of it was quite hopeful. Humans knocking about in space for the first time. The invention of flight as well, come to think of it. On a global scale you have the collapse of the European Empires, people becoming more connected across the whole world and England winning a World Cup. You can order those based on importance as you see fit.  

All in all, as far as backgrounds for exciting fiction goes, you can’t go wrong with the 20th century.
