Collection: Space Science Fiction

Science fiction is a complicated genre, which we suppose makes sense - we don't remember science being easy at school. But saying that, if you were going to picture something sci-fi it's probably going to involve space. Basically something between Star Trek and Star Wars. Which is why some of our favourite science fiction books are set up there above the atmosphere.

We think the reason we like space science fiction is that it's so different from anything written about here on boring normal earth. It has the potential to be about as fictional as fiction gets. And lasers. We like the space lasers as well.

You should be able to find your kind of book in the genre. Maybe you are all about galactic empires and massive space battles, in which case Space Opera might be for you (ignore any associations with Corrie you might have). Or you could be looking for something with a bit more scientific detail, so the Hard sci-fi end of space based science fiction would be for you (think The Expanse, and you are in the right sort of spot)
