Collection: Football

We love football. (I, the one writing this, am a Boro fan, so I also hate football quite often, but that seems fairly standard) So here are some books about the beautiful game. Although to be honest quite a lot of them are about the less pretty side of a beautiful game.

We are big fans of the deep dives into tactics or the history of the game. Even so we would recommend picking up one of the football books on the finance and/or corruption in the game. The problem with how popular the sport is the amount of airtime people give it. Some thinkers and commentators about football are possibly more 'thinky' than others. So having a well researched book on how FIFA are a disgrace, or exactly the extent of how broken the finance side of the game is, can be useful. You don't want to get caught not being very 'thinky' about it all.
