Collection: Fantasy

Fantasy Fiction has got to be one of the most fun genres to write. Set your own rules, create a world and make some weird and wonderful characters charge about in there, doing whatever mad stuff makes sense. It doesn't even have to be a full on JRR Tolkien world with elves and dwarfs and dragons. One of our favourite series is by Naomi Novik and called Temeraire. It's set in the real world during the Napoleonic Wars. But with dragons. It reads like during the war both sides had an air force. But that air force was dragons. Proof, if there ever was, that when it comes to a fantasy book you can do what you want.

So dive in and find something you like: an epic journey across a new world, a wizard policeman fighting crime, or, apparently, a dragon air force. There has to be something you like in all this lot.
